You can enter information directly into the applicable screen
VetRex uses two methods to enter data into the database. You may select a secondary screen such as the ‘Military/Reserve’ screen and enter the information directly into the applicable fields, or you may use the VA forms to enter data. Most VetRex users use the latter method.

You can just enter the information as you fill out the form
You simply get the veteran’s record on the screen either by creating a new record or loading a record that you already have entered into VetRex. You just click on ‘Forms’ at the top of the screen then select the VA or DOD form you want to fill out. VetRex loads the form into the WindForm Filler, inserts the existing data about the veteran from the database and you are ready to either add more information to the form or print as many copies as you like on your inkjet or laser printer.
When you are finished with the form, and exit from the form back to VetRex, VetRex asks if you want to import the new information you typed on the form to the database. If you answer ‘Yes’, VetRex will pick up all the new data and store it in the veteran’s record.
If you need another copy of the form at a later date, VetRex will recreate the form for you and print as many copies as you need.
Once you have entered the data on a form, you don’t ever have to enter it again. If you select another form, VetRex will pick up the data from the veteran’s record and insert it into the appropriate blocks on the new form.
